Selena Gomez is out and about, dancing her butt off, and enjoying life now that she is single once again.
In an interview with Chelsea Handler for E's TV show “Chelsea Lately”, her long-time friend and “Spring Breaker” co-star Vanessa Hudgens revealed Gomez was the ultimate party girl at the Vanity Fair gathering this year.
“She can dance the night away. I am really impressed,” said Hudgens. To what Handler referring to Gomez added, “Well, yeah, you are Latina.”
The host also went farther into Selena’s childhood memories with her Mexican father, when they both used to go together to watch basketball games at the local Hooters.
“I know that you are a Latina because I also know your history for your love for Hooters… Why do you love it?” Chelsea said.
“When I was younger I think my dad wanted me to be a boy, so he would take me to watch the Spurs games,” said the actress. “All the waitresses would come over and I’d color them pictures, and so I was kind of like bait for him in a way, it was cool.”
Chelsea didn’t waste time asking Selena if she was having a good time now that she is single, after breaking up with former boyfriend Justin Bieber, the also singer admitted it hasn’t been bad.
“Yes, I really am,” Selena said while smiling.
Selena is now promoting her new movie "Spring Breakers" which hits theaters nationwide on Friday.
