'The Good Wife,' 'Death Of A Client' Preview: Will Interrupts St. Alicia Chat (VIDEO)

Four's A Crowd On 'The Good Wife'

The Shamrock Dinner is in full swing and everybody on this week's episode of "The Good Wife," titled "Death of a Client," is dressed to the nines. It's a big night for Peter who is seeking to get a cardinal's backing for his gubernatorial race and he has an ace in the hole to make that happen: St. Alicia.

In the exclusive clip above from the March 24 installment, Eli sings Alicia's praises and preps the Florricks on the importance of the night ... before Will Gardner shows up.

The "Death of a Client" features the return of Stockard Channing as Veronica, Alicia's mother, and the appearance of John Noble as one of Alicia's long-standing, more ... shall I say "eccentric" clients, whose eagerness to sue everybody and anybody seemingly gets him killed.

"They go through a series of flashbacks about their relationship and the way that they work together ... I think the character I played formed a real attachment to her and kept bringing back more cases almost because he wanted to be with her," Noble told The Huffington Post. "It was an interesting way to do it and she had to grapple with the fact that she's not really supposed to talk about these cases after death, but did talk because there were threats to other people. There are all sorts of issues going on in the episode. It's actually a fantastic episode right across the board."

"The Good Wife," "Death of a Client" airs on Sunday, March 24 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
