No. 2 seed Duke will face No. 7 Creighton in the third round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the Midwest region.
Duke avoided another early upset by defeating Albany in the second round with dominating performances by Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry, who each recorded more than 20 points against the No. 15 Great Danes. The Bluejays advanced thanks in large part to a do-it-all effort from Doug McDermott against Cincinnati.
The winner in this matchup on March 24 will advance to the Sweet 16.
