Sean Penn's Son Pushes Photographer: Hopper Penn Screams Racial & Homophobic Slurs At Pap

Sean Penn's Son Attacks Photographer

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree for Sean Penn.

TMZ reports that the actor's 19-year-old son, Hopper Penn, got into a nasty altercation with a paparazzo -- and the whole incident was caught on camera.

Footage shows Hopper following his famous father into a medical building in Beverly Hills, when he pushes the unidentified paparazzo who was taking his picture, and calls the man a "f****t" and a "n***er."

"F**k you, you're a f**king f****t. Shut up you f**king n***er," Hopper can be heard shouting at the photographer.

The paparazzi was definitely taken aback by Hopper pushing him, and can be heard shouting "Don't you ever do that. You're a kid," and was blown away by the slurs hurled at him. "What?! That's the kind of talk you're teaching him, Sean. Huh?" the photographer called out.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops who were nearby asked what happened and the photographer brushed off the incident as a verbal disagreement, and said he didn't want anyone charged.

When TMZ caught up with Hopper, he said he "deeply" regretted his choice of words, but said that he was accosted by the paparazzo and was "made to feel like an animal -- threatened and under attack, but that does not condone my own actions."

Hopper has clearly inherited his father's temper. According to E! News, Sean Penn has had more than a few unfortunate altercations with the paparazzi himself. In 1987, the actor was actually sentenced to 60 days in jail (and served 33) for assaulting a photographer on a film. And who could forget that the actor made a plea of no contest to vandalism, (while a battery charge was dropped) after he kicked a paparazzo in 2010 and was sentenced to three years probation.
