The American Society of Magazine Editors announced the finalists for the 2013 National Magazine Awards on Monday.
Esquire, Fortune, National Geographic, New York and Wired were nominated for "General Excellence" in print. Finalists for the best website are Afar, The Atlantic, Golf Digest, National Geographic and Scientific American. Finalists for the best tablet magazine are Bloomberg Businessweek, Bon Appétit, Esquire, Money and National Geographic.
Mother Jones was nominated for the secret video of Mitt Romney's infamous 47% remarks.
Overall, National Geographic led the pack with seven nominations, followed by Bon Appétit and New York, which each nabbed six. Click over for the full list of finalists in all the categories.
