To center myself I do a quick five-minute meditation. I empty my mind by taking three deep, cleansing breaths and let all of the stress and anxiety of the day flow out of my feet into Mother Earth. I then imagine a golden sun over my head and feel the golden light energy pouring into the top of my head and down through my body. I end my meditation with three more deep, cleansing breaths.

Running outside is very centering and restorative for me. I love to reconnect to nature and I imagine the stress of the day leaving through my feet with each step. I always come back from a run invigorated and refreshed.
