Hulu April Fools' Day 2013: Site Announces 'Premieres' Of 'MILF Island,' 'Inspector Spacetime'

'MILF Island' On Hulu?

Comedy fans, rejoice: After years of anticipation, you might soon be able to watch episodes of "MILF Island," "Inspector Spacetime" and "The Rural Juror" on Hulu.com.

Er, wait. What's today again?

In the spirit of the age-old April Fools' prank tradition, streaming video site Hulu announced a whole new slate of April Premieres, featuring shows including "Inspector Spacetime," "MILF Island," "The Rural Juror" and "The Itchy and Scratchy Show."

The catch is that all of these shows are actually fictional programs featured on television hits such as "30 Rock" and "Community." Sadly, when users click on the teaser promos for the fictional premieres, they're redirected to clips from the shows they originated from. (We can dream, can't we?)

Hulu's prank, which is more of an inside joke than a practical "gotcha" stunt, follows past shenanigans by the tech site. In 2012, the “Voice of Hulu's” outtakes were "accidentally" inserted into the beginning of many shows, while in 2011 the site reset itself to 1996.
