Demi Lovato dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live," excited about her upcoming return to the judging panel on "The X Factor." She is the only judge other than Simon Cowell currently confirmed for the show's upcoming third season, which begins filming its auditions rounds this summer.
She told Kimmel that she's excited about not being the rookie in the upcoming season. As for who the two new rookies will be -- replacing the departing L.A. Reid and Britney Spears -- Lovato admitted she had no idea. But she did have some fantasy picks.
"I would love for either Lady Gaga or Katy Perry," she said. That said, the show hasn't asked for her input on those replacements just yet. And they may not, considering Lovato takes credit for the hiring of Khloe Kardashian as "X Factor" host last season.
Kardashian is not expected to return and join Mario Lopez on those hosting duties in the upcoming season.
Lovato is going to have a busy summer indeed. She just announced that her self-titled new album drops this May.
Demi Lovato will be back for "The X Factor," this fall on Fox. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on ABC.
