Pro-Hillary Clinton group "Ready for Hillary" is ready for action.
The political action committee, which started operating in January, officially launched its new website Tuesday with an email from Allida Black, the PAC's chairwoman, to reporters and an apparently growing list of supporters. The group announced Monday it has garnered over 100,000 members since starting to organize.
"We are going to keep up the energy and excitement surrounding her potential candidacy. To succeed we need to start building an extensive field program -- getting neighbors talking to neighbors, organizing on college campuses, and putting together the winning team of supporters that will help Hillary win in 2016. Together, let's send a resounding message that America is ready for Hillary. Stand with us today!” Black's email said.
Clinton herself has become more politically active since quitting as secretary of state. She announced her support for gay marriage last week -- a move some saw as foreshadowing a 2016 run. Polls have shown public support for a Clinton run, though she has not announced any plans.
