Rebecca Jarvis will join ABC News as chief business and economics correspondent, the network announced Tuesday.
She previously co-anchored "CBS This Morning Saturday." She signed off on Saturday, and will start her new role at ABC News in late April.
"Deeply knowledgeable about financial news, Rebecca is a versatile and aggressive reporter who will contribute immensely across every program and platform," ABC News president Ben Sherwood said in a memo to staff on Tuesday.
It is the second high-profile hire that the network has made in recent days, and both are from CBS News. ABC News announced on Monday that Byron Pitts is joining the network as chief national correspondent. Pitts has been at CBS News, where he is chief national correspondent for "CBS Evening News" and contributor to "60 Minutes" — for more than a decade.
