Zoe Saldana may be joining the cast of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy."

Saldana is reportedly in talks to play Gamora, a green, human-like creature with a talent for killing, according to THR.

Led by director James Gunn ("Super"), "Guardians of the Galaxy" was first announced at last year's Comic-Con. Chris Pratt has signed on to star in the film as Star-Lord, and Dave Bautista has nabbed the role of Drax the Destroyer.

If Saldana does go through with the deal, this won't be her first time playing a superhuman character. The actress starred in 2009's smash hit, "Avatar" as Neytiri. Saldana is also featured in the upcoming "Star Trek Into Darkness," led by J.J. Abrams.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" will hit theaters on Aug. 1, 2014.
