'Survivor: Caramoan' Goes For Gross-Out Factor With Eating Challenge (VIDEO)

It was a blast from the past as "Suvivor: Caramoan" channeled its earlier self in an eating challenge. For the first indiividual immunity challenge of the season, contestants were forced to chow down on local delicacies like beetle larvae, pig brains and duck embryos. There was definitely a gross-out factor going on.

In a personal best, Cochran downed the food round by round to win his first-ever individual immunity. He was so excited, he even admitted to doing a happy dance that could be seen as gloating or poor sportsmanship. But no one got mad at him. Either because they were genuinely happy for him, or they were too sick to their stomachs to get worked up about it.

Watching everyone getting sick was Entertainment Weekly's favorite part of the challenge, while the "food" made McDonalds look like Heaven to Buddy TV. HitFix, though, called total b.s. on those items being delicacies in the Philippines.

In a big strategic move, Dawn told Cochran about Corinne's plan to form an alliance with the fans and eliminate most of the favorites. Doing so caused Corinne's strategy to backfire badly, and she became the first favorite voted out since Week 1 -- not counting Brandon's epic meltdown.

Who goes home next? Tune in to "Survivor: Caramoan" every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS to find out.
