• Pete Campbell On Love

“I love you. I’m giving up my life to be with you, aren’t I?” (Season 1, Episode 1)

  • Vincent Kartheiser On Love, Pre-Alexis Bledel (Hopefully)

"I've never been monogamous ... I don't understand women, I'm off that kick." -Kartheiser to The Guardian

  • Pete Campbell On His Great Ideas

“Direct marketing? I thought of that. It turned out it already existed, but I arrived at it independently. And then I come to this place, and you people tell me that I’m good with people, which is strange, because I’d never heard that before.” (Season 1, Episode 4)

  • Vincent Kartheiser On Pete Campbell

“Everyone thinks he’s a scumbag, but they still cash the checks from the clients he brings in. He’s the only one with the stomach to see how the sausage is made. Hey, Sterling, Cooper, Draper and Joan -- you’re welcome!” -Kartheiser to TV Guide Magazine

"The truth is I turn down a lot of projects. If a character doesn't have some kind of internal struggle, it's no good for me. I think to live in the unnatural world we live in and not have some kind of unresolved issue going on would be naive in the extreme." -Kartheiser to The Guardian

"I don't really go anywhere to buy things. In fact, I have been in a slow process of selling and giving away everything I own ... "Like, I don't have a toilet at the moment." -Kartheiser to The Guardian
