Next time you're unhappy with your plane's inflight entertainment, take a minute to really, truly consider if it's worth complaining.

A family traveling from Denver to Baltimore couldn't help themselves, and it came back to haunt them. Traveling with two young children and worried about the violence in the PG-13 movie "Alex Cross," the family says they calmly expressed their concerns to a flight attendant, according to a letter the family provided to the Atlantic.

An hour later, the captain reportedly told the passengers that the Baltimore-bound flight would instead be landing in Chicago due to "security concerns." Upon landing, the family was then escorted off the plane by security officers. They have yet to be identified.

United Airlines did not address the family's concerns directly in an email to The Huffington Post, but did provide the following statement:

United flight 638 from Denver to Baltimore diverted to Chicago O'Hare after the crew reported a disturbance involving a passenger. The flight landed without incident and the passengers were removed from the aircraft. We reaccommodated the customers on the next flight to Baltimore and have since conducted a full review of our inflight entertainment.

This story comes on the heels of other customers speaking out against unfortunate travel experiences with United. In August, the airline came under fire after parents claimed that crew members lost a 10-year-old girl who was flying alone. After no United Airlines team member reportedly met the girl on her connection flight, the parents claim that they spent 18 hours trying to locate their daughter.
