D.C. sidewalks were covered in blood on Saturday night when a Chipotle customer was stabbed, reportedly over a place in line.
DCist has more details:
According to witnesses at the scene, the fight started over a place in line; a suspect later detained by police allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times on the side of his torso. Blood stained the sidewalk and police closed off 14th Street after the incident.

A police spokesperson told The Huffington Post that the suspect is currently in custody waiting to be charged. The identities of the victim, who survived the attack, and suspect have not been revealed.
That wasn't the only stabbing in the D.C. area over the weekend taking place in close proximity to food. On Saturday morning a separate stabbing led to four arrests in Northern Virginia. Arlington Now reports that a 32-year-old male was found outside Union Jack’s in Arlington with non-life threatening injuries.
