Did Don Draper just hate on San Francisco?
In the highly anticipated Season 6 premiere of AMC's "Mad Men," main character Don Draper took a stab at Fog City, as our friends over at SFist pointed out.
While in a meeting for a fume-free oven cleaner for Dow Chemical, Draper criticized his team's cavalier use of the word "love," referencing "the ubiquitous San Francisco hippie" in the process.
"As much as I'd like to join all the ads making fun of the ubiquitous San Francisco hippie, let's try to trade on the word 'love' as something substantial."
Something substantial? Rude!
And choice words from a man who spent half the episode philandering with the downstairs neighbor.
But as Jon Hamm told TV Guide about his anti-hero, "Not every character can be Coach Taylor."
