Spike Albrecht had everyone's attention on Monday night and he is doing his best to make the most of it. The freshman guard came off the bench for Michigan early in the national championship game against Louisville and put on a shooting display for the ages, scoring 17 points in the first half. Although Louisville went on to win, Albrecht's performance will undoubtedly be remembered by Michigan fans as a silver lining from the loss.

The day after the game, Albrecht tweeted at one particularly famous fan of the Wolverines: Kate Upton.

On Monday night, the 20-year-old SI swimsuit cover model tweeted a picture of herself outside of the Georgia Dome. The Michigan native attended the game to cheer on the Wolverines.

Although she didn't initially respond to Albrecht, Upton's first tweet on Tuesday showed that her support for the team was undiminished by the loss.
