Lance Armstrong Sells Estate In Austin, Texas For A Reportedly Lower Asking Price (PHOTOS)

He's leaving Austin, Texas...for well under his asking price.

Real estate headlines everywhere are reading "Lance Armstrong Sells Estate," after the Austin American-Statesman reported this morning that the cyclist is selling his 7,850-square foot Spanish colonial-style Austin, Texas home.

Royalty Clearinghouse founder Al Koehler has purchased the property, but did not pay "anything close" to the listing price of $10 million. Armstrong's rep said the athlete will continue to live in the capital city, according to the newspaper.

Back in his heyday, Armstrong welcomed Architectural Digest into this same house after it had undergone a major renovation. It was at that time that we got a sneak peek at his media room where he prominently displayed his jerseys from the Tour de France. And in November 2012 we saw that room again -- in Armstrong's infamous tweet.

But we all know how that ended.
