Bill O'Reilly stopped by The Hollywood Reporter's "35 Most Powerful People in Media" party Wednesday night and spent just enough time on the red carpet to discuss his thoughts on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and joke about Dennis Rodman. He also gracefully sashayed down the red carpet at one point, which was highly entertaining.
"I don't really feel one way or the other about it," O'Reilly said about DOMA. "I think it's a symbolic act, so whatever they want to do there in Congress, fine."
He added, "I'm more interested in saving the country from bankruptcy and keeping us out of a crazy war with North Korea."
When asked to elaborate on the situation brewing in North Korea, O'Reilly said suggested sending Dennis Rodman back to the country "to calm a guy down, slap him around a little." He said, "I mean who else would you want in a period of crisis for America than Dennis Rodman?"
O'Reilly appeared on one of the four covers The Hollywood Reporter released for its annual New York Issue naming the 35 most powerful people in media.
