Lady Gaga 'Born This Way' Tour: Singer Could Be Out of Commission Until September, Report Says

Lady Gaga May Not Resume Tour Until At Least September

Lady Gaga may not resume her "Born This Way" tour until at least September, according to a new report from Life & Style.

A source reportedly revealed to the magazine that Gaga is recovering at her home in Chicago while boyfriend Taylor Kinney cares for her in the aftermath of her recent hip surgery. That recovery period will put her out for months, according to the source.

One of Gaga's publicists seems to disagree, however, simply saying in an email that "HuffPost shouldn't pick up Life & Style."

The magazine reports that Gaga is spending her time writing music while she's unable to perform and "needs clearance from her doctors" before pushing ahead with the projects she has on tap.

What is clear is that the singer canceled the remainder of her tour in February due to a tear in her right hip. Billboard reported in February that $25 million in ticket sales would need to be refunded as a result.
