On Sunday night, Emma Watson accepted The Trailblazer Award at the MTV Movie Awards, an honor that called for a nostalgic montage of all her past roles. After watching the reel, Emma took the mic and responded, "So after seeing this clip, I look back at all of the work I've done over the past 14 years and many things come to mind, most importantly how bad my hair was in the first Harry Potter film."
Indeed, Emma has come a long way since her Hermione days. Back then, black capes and frizzy hair were her style signatures. Now it's that adorable pixie cut (which has grown out quite nicely, although we had our doubts) and a cutting-edge fashion sense that showcases the best the runways have to offer. Oh, and her off-duty style isn't half-bad, either.
In honor of Emma's birthday today (April 15), let's see how this lovable British A-lister's fashion has evolved, from school uniforms to couture. Are you a fan of Emma's style?
