Reviews of the documentary that's been filming all these years on "The Office" started to come out, which led to all kinds of excitement for most of the characters. Of course, it also led to Angela's senator husband having to go public and come out of the closet before the show did it for him.
Perhaps the most extreme reaction to it, though, was from Andy. Based on one line in a review that otherwise insulted him, he decided to give show biz a try. The reviewer had said he has genuine musical talent. So he decided to seek out representation, and wound up in the office of a local talent agent named Carla, played by Roseanne Barr.
"Would you dress up as, say, a birthday clown and go to a kid’s party and let them throw pies at you?” Carla asked him.
"Whereas that is not why I have entered show business, I do understand that you have to build credibility," Andy responded. "I'm all for it." See, now there's your spin-off!
TV Fanatic was loving the chemistry between the two actors, and wanted more of it. Barr apparently loved it to. She took to Twitter to compliment her on-screen partner, writing, "the most fun i had on the office was watching the hilarious and moving acting of ed helms-he should do a serious brad cooper kind of role-"
The final season of "The Office" is winding down, Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
