Their love was a bright light on an otherwise dark day.

On Monday, Dallas couple Kelli Johnston and Robert Watling tied the knot in Boston Common after running the Boston Marathon, despite the attacks on the city.

BuzzFeed reports that the couple said "I do" just three and a half hours after explosions occurred at the marathon's finish line. Johnston wore a wedding dress made of athletic "wicking" material, and Watling donned a "traxedo," a tuxedo-track suit hybrid. Both sported running shoes. Johnston and Watling met at a Dallas coffee shop in 2011 and have run many races together since. Watling popped the question in 2012, after the couple completed the Chicago Marathon together.
