Bitcoin's recent market high has piqued media interest in the coin and has apparently gotten the digital currency at least one new customer: online dating site OKCupid.

OKCupid announced on Tuesday via Coinbase, a "bitcoin wallet" where people can buy and sell the digital currency, that it would begin taking payments in Bitcoin for its "A-List" features. The site is free to use, but the premium features get rid of ads, allow users to check profiles anonymously, and give users the option of sending messages to another person even if his or her inbox is full.

The site joins dozens of other sites, including WordPress and Reddit, in accepting the digital currency.

Bitcoin prices on the dating site will reflect prices in U.S. dollars, Ars Technia reports. Sam Yagan, one of the company's founders, told the site that the company won't hoard the digital currency. Instead, it plans to accept the coin and exchange it for U.S. dollars via its partnership with Coinbase.
