The 2013 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival kicks off on April 17 with the world premiere of "Mistaken for Strangers," a documentary about indie rock band The National. (The band will also perform at a special concert following the screening.)
Between then and April 28, when the festival comes to a close, scores of films will screen in New York City, including the world premieres of features starring John Cusack, Emma Roberts, Paul Rudd, Paul Giamatti, Sam Rockwell, Adam Driver, Alice Eve, Stanley Tucci and many more. This is to say nothing of panel discussions with big names like Ben Stiller, Clint Eastwood and Darren Aronofsky. Even Tribeca Film Festival co-founder Robert De Niro is in on this year's action: The fest will screen a restored print of Martin Scorsese's prescient 1983 classic "The King of Comedy," which stars De Niro, as its closing night film.
Ahead, 38 must-sees at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.
