Representing a district in the Hunger Games is a dangerous business. Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick Odair in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," learned that the hard way when shooting the upcoming film.

Claflin recently injured himself while he was rehearsing for a scene in the "Hunger Games" sequel.

"Sam got hurt the worst," "Catching Fire" actor Alan Ritchson said in an interview with E!. "He broke his hand doing a stunt."

"He broke it on the stunt guy, warming up," Ritchson added. "I was standing right next to him. It was tough to watch."

Always the charmer, Claflin reportedly powered through the injury, as Ritchson explained, he "took it like a champ -- he took it and kept moving."

A new trailer for the upcoming "Hunger Games" film premiered during Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. In the preview (shown above), Jennifer Lawrence reprises her role of Katniss Everdeen, as Philip Seymour Hoffman and Donald Sutherland also make appearances.

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" hits theaters on Nov. 22.
