Fertilizer Plant Explosion Video: Horrifying Eyewitness Experience Caught On Camera

An explosion at a fertilizer plant in West, Texas was caught on tape Wednesday night. The explosion, first reported shortly before 8 p.m, wounded several. Fatalities have also been reported.

The blast damaged several buildings, including a nursing home nearby. WacoTrib notes a dispatcher calling for ambulances was overhead saying, "we do have a lot of injured here."

Authorities have asked citizens to evacuate from the city.

In the eyewitness video seen above, a father appears to be taping the explosion. He says, "It should collapse." After a boom is heard, a child in the video begins to say, "I can't hear. Get out here, Dad."

"Please get out of here, oh my god," the child adds, and continues saying, "I can't hear."
