Being a supermodel means you basically have top designers on speed dial and glamorous dresses at your disposal. So why would Doutzen Kroes sift through Natalie Portman's laundry basket for a glitzy red carpet appearance?
At last night's Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Ball, the Victoria's Secret stunner wore the very same dress that Portman wore for the 2012 Golden Globes -- talk about big shoes to fill. The fuchsia Lanvin gown, custom-made for the actress, was a pretty bold choice for the model considering it debuted during one of the biggest fashion events of the year.
So how was Doutzen's take on the memorable look? Rather than try Portman's sleek updo, the blonde bombshell went the "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" route with Hollywood waves and plenty of Tiffany's jewelry (natch). All in all, she looked gorgeous, but we're still swooning over Natalie's version.
