Springtime typically means there are plenty of puppies in need of homes, and this week is no different at Lifeline Puppy Rescue.

"Springtime is the time every year when the birds and the bees are making their magic. For us, this means a large influx of orphaned and homeless puppies. Over the next few weeks we will have many puppies looking forever loving homes," said Scott Cromer, director of outreach for Lifeline Puppy Rescue in Brighton.

Cromer says 153 puppies have been adopted since March.
