Neil Patrick Harris And David Burtka Reportedly Leaving Their Gorgeous California Home For New York City (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

He's in the market for a new place, but how can you really top this?

It looks like Neil Patrick Harris and partner David Burtka are planning a big move.

According to Us Magazine, the couple intend to leave Los Angeles and head to New York City after Harris shoots the final season of How I Met Your Mother.

This news has us wondering if they'll ever be able to find a place like the one they have now. Back in 2012 we got to see a house tour when the two were on Oprah's Next Chapter. The couple showed off their amazing California home complete with contemporary art, a cozy living room and stunning kitchen space.

We also got to see Harris' "Magic Man Cave," which is hidden behind a door that looks like a poster. The red walls, black leather furniture and trinkets do have a, err, magical feeling. "I used to have magic everywhere," Harris told Oprah. "And David got mad at me, so he forced all of my magic in one room."

To try and find a new place with a magic room might take a while -- as if house hunting in New York City isn't hard enough.

Watch the video above to see more of Patrick and David's California home. And be sure to head over to Us Magazine for more information.
