Denver's Earth Day Fair may have moved inside due to the snow, but you can adopt good Earth Day practices even if the weather keeps you inside.

This year marks the 43rd anniversary of Earth Day, which was founded by then-U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson (D-Wis.) in an effort to raise public awareness about pollution and environmental protection.

In keeping with Nelson's vision, Alliance for Sustainable Colorado works to collaborate with other organizations like Bike Denver and Clean Water Colorado to advance a more sustainable future.

Alliance for Sustainable Colorado shared their tips to live more sustainably with The Huffington Post for Earth Day.

Check out these tips and let us know on Twitter (@HuffPostDenver) or in the comments section which tips you plan to adopt to celebrate Earth Day! And if you have additional tips, share them with us!
