Romeo And Juliet Fish Tank Scene Makes Us Want To Dress Like An Angel (VIDEO)

WATCH: The 'Romeo & Juliet' Fish Tank Scene Gets Us Every Time

Few movie scenes render us as useless as the fish tank moment in the 1996 version of "Romeo + Juliet." Just one look at Leonardo DiCaprio smiling at Claire Danes through the glass container is enough to leave us in fetal position on our couches for the rest of the day.

If you've watched it, you know that it's really no wonder that Romeo fell for Juliet -- just check out that angel costume and fresh face. Claire's streamlined take on the white ensemble was spot-on '90s minimalism. Everything from the no-fuss straight hair to her nearly makeup-free visage was the perfect update to such an iconic character.

So in honor of the day believed to be William Shakespeare's birthday today (April 23rd), we're revisiting this cripplingly awesome scene. Check out the clip below and don't tell us we didn't warn you.
