We've said before that Ariana Grande's voice reminds us a bit of Mariah Carey's, and her rendition of Whitney Houston's "I Believe in You and Me" is even more proof that the rising pop star and "Sam & Cat" actress might be ready to join the big leagues.

The singer had originally recorded "I Believe in You and Me" in her bedroom, but after fans requested a version with better audio quality, the singer posted a new video yesterday of her singing Houston's song in the studio. Singing acapella, the simple, black-and-white video is stripped down, showing off Ariana's beautiful vocal range.

She wrote on YouTube: "Tribute to Whitney. I love you."

Do you think Ariana did Whitney's song justice? Which version do you like best? Sound off in the comments below, or tweet @HuffPostTeen!
