A newly divorced Kim Kardashian hit the red carpet at an E! Network event on Tuesday and opened up about how she's been feeling since her split from NBA player Kris Humphries was made official last Friday.
"I'm just glad for Kris and I both that we can just move on," she told "Extra" special correspondent Angie Martinez. "I think we ultimately both wanted the same thing so I'm glad we were able to come up with an agreement and move on for both of us."
And now that she's officially single, what does Kardashian think about tying the knot with boyfriend Kanye West, with whom she is expecting a child this July?
"Don't you think I should slow down?" she said with a laugh. "I think that I should slow down. I think that I'm just really just enjoying my time with Kanye right now and we want to have the baby. When you know how it's going to be in the end, there's no need to really rush it right now."
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries in October 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. After nearly a year and a half of divorce proceedings, the split was finalized in April 2013. According to TMZ, the Brooklyn Nets power forward will receive no money from Kardashian in the settlement.
