Wanna meet Tim Cook? You'll have to fork up a few years' salary. Charity Buzz is auctioning off a meeting over coffee with the Apple CEO, and as of Thursday morning bids had reached $180,000 with 19 days left.
That better be some really good coffee.
As of right now, the top bidder is not a person, but a company: Clearcrate, a Miami-based company that makes protective covers for Apple products.
With this level of bidding, Cook's headed into some pretty rarefied territory. At a 2012 charity auction, a meet-and-greet with Oprah went for $105,000, and a day spent with Bill Clinton was sold for $255,000.
Still, we bet the bidding would head even higher if we were talking about Apple's previous CEO.
The proceeds from Cook's auction will go to The RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights.
