Billy Ray Cyrus dropped by "The Tonight Show" to talk about his new autobiography, "Hillbilly Heart," but the topic quickly made its way to his famous daughter, Miley. Specifically, Jay Leno wanted to know whether she and her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, are actually going to get married.

"Probably should ask her that," Cyrus said. "Her and Liam seem to be having a lot of fun right now. I told them, ‘Value your friendship. Take care of your friendship. That piece of paper can change things real quick.’”

Cyrus knows a lot of things about marital difficulties. He contemplated divorce a few years back, only to change his mind and refocus his energy on his wife and his family.

It was a legitimate question about Miley and Hemsworth. Recent reports are that their wedding has been postponed and tat the couple is once again on the rocks. At least, they're reportedly taking the time to get their relationship right before rushing into a marriage they may not be ready for.
