Elton John and his husband David Furnish shed some light on their parenting methods in a new interview with Extra TV.
The Rocket Man, 66, said that becoming a parent to sons Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John and Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John had "changed [his life] beyond recognition." Having used a surrogate for their children, the famous couple was being honored with a special award from the American Fertility Association.
"Everything I thought I would find annoying about having children -- screaming, shouting, tantrums and anything like that -- I don't find any of it annoying. I find it all enchanting," he observed.
Though John called Furnish the diaper-changing expert, he also quipped, "I'm a good barf cleaner."
John also revealed why he chose Lady Gaga as the godmother to both of his children. "I think she's a great role model," he noted. "I admire everything about her."
