Royal Engagement Interview Is Still Incredibly Cute (VIDEO)

WATCH: Kate Middleton & Prince William's Engagement Interview Is Still Incredibly Cute

When Prince William announced his engagement in November 2010, the world knew very little about his bride-to-be Kate Middleton, despite the fact that the couple had dated for over 7 years. (She was called "Waity Katie" for a reason.)

Luckily, immediately after the announcement, the couple sat down for an in-depth television interview with BBC's Tom Bradby, divulging intimate details of their relationship. As for what attracted Will to Kate? "She's got a really naughty sense of humour," the prince revealed.

Even though we're still waiting for the Duchess of Cambridge to publicly crack a good joke, we do have to remark on how much more comfortable Kate's become in front of the camera since then. During the 2010 sit-down, she's very timid, and Will has to jump in and finish her sentences for her -- quite a stark difference from the duchess about town she is today.

On Will's end, it's adorable to watch him discuss working up the gumption to propose (as if there was a chance Kate would have refused him). The interviewer touches on more serious topics as well when he brings up Princess Diana and warns Kate about the pressures of life in the public eye. Looking back, it seems like a dark foreshadowing of the topless photo scandal that would plague the couple in their second year of marriage.

The prince then explains just why he took his time to take their relationship to the next level, saying, "I wanted to give [Kate] a chance to see in and to back out if she needed to before it all got too much. Because I'm not trying to learn from lessons done in the past, and I just wanted to give her the best chance to settle in and to see what happens on the other side."

Two years later, with a baby on the way, the royal pair seem to be enjoying life on the other side (seriously). In honor of Will and Kate's wedding anniversary on April 29th, we're talking a look back at the interview that started it all. Check out the full interview below and tell us: Do you think they've changed since then?
