Authorities are investigating emergency landings of possibly two different aircraft near Los Angeles, Calif.

The first, a single-engine Cessna plane, appears to have made an emergency landing on a golf course in Westlake Village at around 2:11 p.m, according to authorities. Three passengers have sustained minor injuries, confirmed Inspector Quvondo Johnson of the Los Angeles County Fire Department to KCAL9, but no one on the ground was hurt.

There are also unconfirmed reports of a second emergency aircraft landing in the Santa Monica Mountains near Calabasas, according to the Los Angeles Times. Federal aviation investigators are looking into the second reported plane accident.

UPDATE 5:47 p.m. PST: The emergency landing on Westlake Village golf course "appears to be connected" to the Calabasas crash about 5 miles away, confirmed an LA County Sheriff's spokesman to NBC Los Angeles.
