It looks like Prince William and Kate Middleton’s rumored Anmer Hall home renovations could be delayed.

According to the Daily Telegraph, part of the land was once “the site of the Village of Anmer in medieval times,” and archaeologists supposedly want to conduct a dig around the area to carry out “survey work.” This all sounds pretty complicated, huh?

Well, long story short, the excavation could get in the way of the couple’s reported plans to re-route their presumed country home’s driveway, which would help conceal the space. A spokeswoman for St. James Palace did tell the newspaper “We have got no statement. We have never actually confirmed they will be moving there.” But a council spokesman for King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council told E! News in March, that the plans for improvements have been approved.

Regardless, we’re not worried about where these two will rest their heads at night. They still have their Nottingham Cottage, Kate’s parents’ house and, well, Buckingham Palace.
