Vanessa Williams stepped out on Monday night to attend the National Corporate Theatre Fund 2013 Awards Gala in New York City--and to remind the world what it means to be 50 and fabulous.
Vanessa, who was honored with the event's Theatre Artist Award, looked ravishing in a red Azadeh gown. The body-hugging design showed off the star's enviable figure and the sleeveless/long-sleeve detailing provided plenty of sass. We're used to Vanessa turning heads on the red carpet, but this is one of our favorite looks to date.
And we all know how fabulously black folk age (re: black don't crack). And while Vanessa, who is currently starring in "The Trip to Bountiful" on Broadway, has admitted to using Botox every now and then, thankfully the procedure hasn't completely petrified her face.
The stunning actress recently posed with her equally beautiful daughters in Allure's April issue, which was dedicated to age-defying beauty. Looking like she does a half a century into life, we'd say Vanessa's got that whole age-defying thing down pat!
