Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' Gets Second Season On CNN

CNN announced on Wednesday that Anthony Bourdain's weekend travel show "Parts Unknown" was given a second season.

The network said that season two would debut on September 15 and take the host to locations including Spain, New Mexico, Israel, Copenhagen, Sicily, Detroit, Tokyo and India. So far this season, Bourdain traveled to Myanmar, Los Angeles and Colombia.

CNN president Jeff Zucker said that the show had "resonated with viewers in a profound way." He added, "In addition to its runaway ratings success, it is also quite the conversation starter, as anyone who follows social media can attest. We are so happy to announce season two, and I can assure you that audiences will love what is coming up on the show."
