Jason Derulo's 'The Other Side' Video Premieres, Showcases Singer's Moves

Jason Derulo Returns With Hot And Heavy Video

Jason Derulo is packing on the sensuality in his new music video for the song "The Other Side," which premiered Tuesday.

The video features Derulo alternating between fighting and dancing with a lady friend, as well as plenty of pulsating neon lights and Usher-esque grooves. It also includes a headstand, which Derulo made certain to spotlight on Twitter:

"The Other Side" is the first single from the 23-year-old singer's third album, which is slated for a September release. It will feature a collaboration with "American Idol" alum Jordin Sparks, despite the fact that the two reportedly "[butted] heads in the studio" while recording.

Derulo became a breakout star in 2009 when he released his debut single "Whatcha Say," which sampled part of Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek." The song climbed its way to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and shortly thereafter Derulo joined Lady Gaga as the opening act on her Monster Ball Tour. In 2010, he opened for the Black Eyed Peas on their world tour, and the following year he headlined his own.
