LANSING, MI - Bickering in the Michigan House has led to some Democrats being removed from committee assignments.

An email from the office of House Speaker Jase Bolger, R-Marshall, said eight Democrats will be removed from committees effective Wednesday. The removals come shortly after Rep. Tim Greimel, leader of the House Democrats, had said Bolger should replace Republicans who last week left early from a House Insurance Committee meeting on proposed changes to the state's no-fault law.
