If you've been waiting for the right moment to make the jump from "fan" to "superfan" when it comes to Ed Sheeran, consider this video your extra push. Watch the British singer-songwriter record background vocals and sounds on-the-spot and launch into an otherwise a cappella version of the classic American folk song, "The Wayfaring Stranger," above. He even ditches the microphone near the end... and although we never doubted it, consider this our final proof: dude can sing.
The clip comes from a small, private performance Sheeran gave on May 2 in NYC, sponsored by Nokia Lumia. The set was all-acoustic and also included the singer's latest American single "Lego House" and his Grammy-nominated track, "A Team."
