Fashion's big night is finally here!
Once a year, style dorks and celeb-watchers alike get to take in the fashion extravaganza that is the Met Gala. With A-listers like Beyonce (the event's honorary chair!) and Gwyneth Paltrow and industry heavyweights like Anna Wintour and Gisele Bundchen dressed in their most adventurous ensembles, there's always plenty to feast your eyes on.
The event, which kicks off the Metropolitan Museum of Art's yearly Costume Institute exhibit, is themed "Punk: Chaos to Couture," so we're already expecting an ode to Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier. Of course, with the Met Gala, it's the unexpected that's more exciting -- like Beyonce's fashionably late arrival in a gorgeous, sheer Givenchy number last year.
So will this year's shindig top last year's? Check out our continually updated slideshow and see for yourselves.
