Just days after the NBA named Lebron James the league's Most Valuable Player for the second straight year, Nike has released its incredibly eccentric "LEBRON X MVP" shoes, special edition footwear made for the Miami Heat forward and only available in limited quantities in North America and China, according to Nike's website.

In winning the award, James joins the likes of Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as one of the few players ever to win the MVP award at least four times, according to USA Today. James has now won the award four of the last five years and was just one vote shy of winning unanimously.
Nike contends that the shoes are intended to "weave the story of James’s incredible journey over the past year," which judging by the design appears to have been all over the place. There's a lion's head embossed on the inside of the shoe's tongue, each shoe comes with different colored soles and shoelaces and the left shoe doesn't match the right shoe. At all.
