Chris Christie Stars In Parody About Fleece He Wore After Hurricane Sandy (VIDEO)

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) made fun of himself in a parody video released Tuesday. And this time, it did not center on his weight.

The not-so-short video follows Christie as he pursues the fleece that he famously wore after Hurricane Sandy. The premise of the parody suggests that Christie's popularity relies solely on his fleece.

The video features high-profile cameos including Alec Baldwin, hosts from MSNBC's "Morning Joe," James Carville and several others. A "Texts From Hillary" spoof also makes an appearance.

Christie has a history of poking fun at himself. While on "The Late Show With David Letterman" in February, Christie made light of the fat jokes directed towards him during the 2012 election by eating a snack on camera.

Christie made headlines on Tuesday when he revealed that he had undergone weight loss surgery. Amid buzz of a potential 2016 bid relying on his health, Christie insisted that his decision to lose weight had little to do with politics.

"This is a hell of a lot more important to me than running for president," Christie said. "This is about my family's future."
