CTU Plans Protest Against CPS Closings With 'Long March'

Teachers are joining other unions and grassroots groups in planning a "long march" to protest Chicago Public Schools closings.

The Chicago Teachers Union posted a notice Friday saying it was organizing a three-day, 30-mile march past the 54 schools slated to be closed, ahead of the expected vote on school closings May 22.
