And beyond stripping down to nothing the "Star Trek into Darkness" actress opens up in the glossy's annual nude issue about dating other actors in Hollywood (“Been there, done that, got the T-shirt"), her sexuality (you'd be surprised) and race--a subject that has presented controversy for the star since landing the lead role in the upcoming Nina Simone biopic.

Although Zoe, the product of a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother, identifies as a black woman, many believe that the role should have gone to an African-American actress. The 34-year-old star has responded to the criticism in the past and used her chat with Allure to address it again.

“It doesn’t matter how much backlash I will get for it, I will honor and respect my black community because that’s who I am.”

We love the pride Zoe has in her skin color. However, we wonder if any of her Latino fans feel shafted she's not representing for her ethnicity?

Nevertheless, girlfriend is lookin' good in the buff!

Here's a look at Zoe's revealing cover shoot! Head over to Allure.com to read more of her interview and pick up a copy when it hits newsstands on Tuesday, May 21.
